Home   Blog Challenges   A To Z Challenge – B Is For Book Clubs

Looking for a way to meet new readers online, book clubs are the way to go. The readers are honest about the books they read and you can ask them questions about what they are looking for in a good book.

Tip

Join a few online book clubs. Be a member, read the book, participate. Get to know the readers. Don’t use it as place to promote your book. Use it as a way to get to know new readers.

How to use for promotion

Most book clubs often offer their writer members a chance to promote their books or use their book as the selection of the month. This is your chance to get some good feedback about your book and hopefully sell a few copies to the members.

  2. I’ve never been officially in a book club, but I certainly discuss books with my online friends a lot.

    Great topic for B!

  3. I’m always looking for good book clubs. They’re kind of hard to find though if you want to meet in person. Online though could be good!

Good luck with the 2015 A to Z Challenge!

  4. That is a great idea. As a writer who reads tons, I’ll have to look into that.

  5. Mee Magnum,

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Some of my best times online have been in online book clubs. I’ve met some amazing readers and books in the clubs I belong to.

  6. S. L. Hennessy,

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. One of the reasons I started SORMAG’s Ereaders Book club was because I wanted to discuss books and couldn’t find a club locally.

  7. Tamara Narayan thank you for stopping by the blogs.

Check out a few online book clubs, you won’t be disappointed.

  8. LaShanda, by the time the Challenge is at an end, you’ll have another book put together. I’ve done a few useful subjects over the years in the Challenge, but putting them together is where quite another Challenge lies. Can you say not enough time?
