This year I’m revisiting Pinterest. Here’s why?
Pinterest is evergreen content. If you follow me you know I push evergreen content heavily because these are the contents you can share again if it’s relevant. Most times it comes up in search engines.
Pinterest is a good place to learn about your craft, business, and marketing. So many people are sharing their wisdom on Pinterest. Use it like a search engine and stay informed.
Pinterest introduces you to new people. Isn’t that what we want to be introduced to new people?
Pinterest lets you leave comments so now you can engage with the people you meet.
Pinterest can be addictive. I like falling down the rabbit holes to learn something new. I also like being able to share what I know with others.
I hadn’t visited Pinterest in a few years, but my following was growing and people were still reading my pins. That’s the power of Evergreen content.
The hard part about social media is taking the time to do it. I recommend starting with 15 minutes. Today I spent two hours on it. I cleaned up my boards by archiving the ones that were outdated and I create a few new ones. I picked 20 pins to add to my boards and will do that every week. Saturday night I’m usually watching a KDramas or movie so I will multi-task and work on my boards. I’ll be back in July and tell you my results.
Here are five pins I added to my boards.
