I was introduced to Kim Soo Hyun with the Kdrama It’s OK To be OK. My daughter told me about this show. To be honest I stopped watching because I thought the Female lead was very toxic. My daughter insisted to give it another try. I came back to it. Kim Soo Hyun’s character kept me watching. He was a caregiver of his older brother. I finished the show, but it wasn’t one I recommend. I’m happy I watched because it put Kim Soo Hyun on my radar to check out more of his shows.
The next show I watched was My Love From The Stars. He was such a cutie pie playing an alien who falls in love. The show gave me a lot of inspiration for my book Love In Space.
The Moon Embracing The Sun is when I fell in love with him. He looks so good as king. I love when an actor can do contemporary and historical because everybody can’t do historicals. His latest show is Queen of Tears. His character taught me a lot about expectations in marriage. His character thought he wanted a divorce; over the course of the show, he learned what he really wanted.
I understand why Kim Soo Hyun is one of the top highest paid actors. He has the looks; the sex appeal and he can act his butt off. When he cries you want to cry right along with him. That’s why he’s in my top three.
