Today I start my editing journey. I’ve had the book back from the editor for a while, but I put off the editing because I had a lot of other things on my plate and I didn’t want to be distracted from giving my all to the book. I chose September as my editing month and also created an Editing challenge to keep me motivated.
I’m nervous about what the editor has to say, but I know it will make the book better, so I’m going to put on my armor, and dig in. I want this book to be the best book I can make it. I love the characters and I want you to love them too.
What’s your favorite part about the editing stage?

My favorite part now is around the tail end of the editing process. Reviewing the style and making changes where appropriate makes me happy. I like to see the improvements on paper.
