This week we will be talking about your social media plan. The social media plan consists of three parts. Today we will talk about the first part, goals. Goals are always important when it comes to your promotion. You need goals for your social media too.
Why are you on social media?
What do you want from social media?
How do you know if social media is working for you?
Your goals will answer these questions.
Here are few more examples of goals to get you started:
I will create a campaign on Twitter to increase brand awareness.
I will grow my Facebook audience by 25 followers a week, and my Twitter followers by 50 a week for the next quarter.
I will use Instagram as a way to introduce my book to new readers. I want to increase my Instagram followers by 10 followers a week.
I will increase my Linked In followers by 100 by 4th quarter
I want you to sit down and create goals that are SMART – As in Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely.
I recommend you pick three social media goals and stay consistent with your social media plan.
