Today’s Promotion Fear – #2 Not Attracting An Audience
When I chat with my clients during the virtual tea I ask them, who is your audience. Most times, I hear my book or product is for everyone.
We all would love for our book or product to be for everyone, but most often it’s for a specific niche of people.
Knowing who your audience is will help you attract the right audience.

Who are your readers?
Who do you want to be your readers?
Where are readers hanging out (online and offline)?
Who are they reading right now?
What type of books do they like?
How often do they buy books?
Where do they buy books?
How do they find out about books?
The more you know about your audience, the more you will be able to figure where to find them and how to get in front of them.
Another strategy I recommend is to find the authors that write what you write.
What platforms are they on?
What conferences are they attending?
What reader events are they attending?
Sometimes this helps you find a place to start if you are new to this genre.
