One of the best things I did for my self-care is picking up coloring again. I hadn’t color in years. I found that it was very relaxing, and I could color what ever I wanted. I like to color mandalas.
I will say it can get addictive with the many pencils, pens and crayons you can buy. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Here are three reason why I like coloring:
- Stress Relief: Coloring helps relax the brain and reduce stress by focusing on a simple, calming activity.
2. Mindfulness: Engaging in coloring promotes mindfulness, helping you stay present and focused on the moment.
3. Creativity Boost: It stimulates creativity and allows for self-expression without the need for artistic skills.
In honor of National Coloring Book Day, I’m offering a copy of my coloring books and the next seven reasons when you join my email list.
