Welcome back to my Weekly Watchlist! Each week, I share the TV shows and K-dramas I’m watching — from the buzzy new releases everyone’s talking about to hidden gems you don’t want to miss. If you’re looking for your next binge, this list will help you decide what to queue up.

What I Watched This Week

My Ratings:

The shows I share here will only be the ones I like and recommend watching.  I don’t believe in bashing shows, because what I don’t like you might love.

I have four rating:

Good – Kept My Interest

Great – I enjoyed it

Loved it – Had me in my feelings

The Best – Made it To My I’ll Watch Again List

Head Over Heels
A swoony K-drama filled with heart-fluttering moments, mistaken intentions, and the kind of romance that makes you grin from ear to ear.

I liked the dual character. He made you fall for both of them. I didn’t care for how the ended this show.

Rating – Great – I enjoyed it

The Gilded Age
From the creators of Downton Abbey, this lush period drama dives into the opulence, rivalries, and secrets of New York’s elite in the late 1800s.

I’m so happy to see them add more storyline for the Black Characters. This season storytelling was amazing. Looking forward to season three. I also started listening to the podcast. Love the backstories.

The Best – Made it To My I’ll Watch Again List

Marry My Husband (Japan)
A revenge-filled romance where betrayal takes center stage—and a second chance at life brings an unexpected twist in love and fate.

I enjoyed the original version so of course I had to check out this one too. I thought they did a good job with their version. The best friend was even more coo coo for cocoa puffs.

Rating – Great – I enjoyed it

My Girlfriend Has Become a Man
A quirky, gender-bending rom-com packed with laughs, heartfelt moments, and a wild body-swap premise that turns relationships upside down.

This series made me wonder a lot of what I would do if this happened to me. My husband said he would have dumped me. LOL. I think the actor playing the guy did an great job figuring out everything.

Rating – Great – I enjoyed it

Butterfly

A gritty, action-packed thriller that follows a man haunted by his past as he’s pulled back into a deadly game of survival and justice.

I loved the actions scenes and it was so cool to recognize a few of my Kdrama favorites.

Rating – Great – I enjoyed it

Beyond The Bar

A sleek legal drama where ambition, secrets, and power struggles collide both inside and outside the courtroom.

I hope they get a second season because I feel like we were cheated on the leads getting a romance. I liked the second leads stories and each court case were so interesting.

Rating – Great – I enjoyed it
