Check out what they have offer. Ask them questions.
Sometimes you can get some great deals at online events. Don’t miss out.
7. Attend the presentations.
The presenters are here for you, this is your chance to learn from them. Remember those question you wrote down, bring them to the presentations. Don’t be shy. Get your answers.
One of the things I love about online events is that some of the best experts present at online events. This might be my only chance to learn from them and I make sure I’m in the room when they do. Yes, you can watch the replay but if you have questions, this is the one chance you get to ask them and have them answered.
8. Participation means your eligible for door prizes.
You can’t win if you are not there. Participate in the discussions and activities.
I won some cool door prizes just because I was a part of the conversation. One of my favorite tips about online events is the nuggets are in the comments. If you aren’t reading the comments you are missing out. Reading the comments helps with participation.
9. Meet new people
Introduce yourself. Make new connections.
You should meet at least five new people at an online event. Make real connections, you can continue once the event is over.
10. Have fun
The summit isn’t a serious event. You should be enjoying yourself too.
If you are not having fun, you are doing it all wrong. Online events are always fun if they are not. Find a new one.
