Home   Promotion   How Are You Promoting Your Book During A Pandemic – Part 2

I know we are in a pandemic, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t reading and buying books.  I can say for myself I’ve sold more books this year than I sold last year.  People are hitting the buy button.

Today I want to share five tips about holiday sales.

12 Days Of Christmas – If you have 12 books, this is a great way to promote them.  You can put them on sale and introduce a book every day for 12 days.

2. Gift Bundles – You can create bundles for your series or if you have one book you can feature it with something else.  For example my book, I can include a calendar or planner and colored pencils or pens as a bundle.  Ebooks can be bundled too.

3. Weekly Sales – You can offer weekly sales all the way up to New Year’s Day.  Create a newsletter for your community and send out.

4. Open House – You can host an open house for your loyal readers and offer a special sale for them or create a book just for them and offer it during the open house.

5. Paid Promotion – Most book promotion sites offer holiday promotion.  My promotion company – SORMAG Promotion offers an annual Christmas wish list that we feature books to our readers.  I also started a new newsletter that features holiday books, so if you have a Christmas book or New Year’s book, you can feature them in the newsletter.
