This month I’m going to reintroduce you to my first science fiction romance – Love In Space.

Love In Space was inspired by the middle grade book I’m writing – Purple Kids (tentative title).  It’s about twins who find out their dad is from another planet, Purpera.  I thought it would be fun to write about why the adults moved to Purpera.

I’d been watching a lot of the dating reality shows on Netflix and hoped it would inspire me for my story.

My initial plan for Love In Space was to tell it from four singles point of view.  Two women and two men.  However, as I started writing this, my editor reminded me that writing this way I was writing four different books and that’s why I felt so overwhelmed trying to write the story.

For the second season of the book.  I decided to focus on one single – Cian.

For this month, I will focus on Cian’s story because it will be easier for you if you are new to the series.

I do recommend reading the first three episodes, which are free to get a feel of the story and see what happens in the beginning for all the singles, then click on episode four to start Cian’s story.

Episodes 1-3 introduces us to USS Obama and the four singles of Love In Space.  The singles have agreed to meet their potential spouse as they journey to the planet Purpera. If they find their spouse, they will live on Purpera for five years. 

I will tell you I’ve been having an amazing time, writing this story, because it’s like having my own soap opera.  I create the drama and watch what happens.

Join me this month as I introduce you to Cian and the four women he has to choose from.  I will say he has a few surprises on this journey but what space opera doesn’t.
