Saturday, I had the opportunity to be an extra in an upcoming movie… and I’m still smiling about it.

First, let me give credit where it’s due.

The screenplay is written by Theresa Taylor, and the director is Brenda Hampton.

Now listen… I need to correct myself because I was so excited in my video I created, I said Brenda’s name wrong. I said Hamilton instead of Hampton.  I want to make sure you have the right name because I didn’t even realize the full scope of what she was doing.

I thought she was just financing films.

I had NO idea Brenda was actually directing her own movies.

And let me tell you…

She didn’t wait for a seat at the table.

This is a family business. Her kids are involved. They’re building something together.

We talk all the time about wanting more movies, more opportunities, more representation…

Brenda is not talking about it.
Brenda is DOING it.

And I am so proud of her.

I can’t wait to see this movie when it comes out.

This was just the beginning…
