Let me tell you something…
Acting is HARD.
A few years ago, I did a church play and only had a few lines.
And when I tell you…
memorizing those lines, delivering them, and actually acting?
Whew!
Now imagine doing that on a movie set.
Multiple takes.
Same scene.
Over and over again.
You have to:
Remember your lines
Hit your mark
Get your facial expressions right
Match the energy every single time
And if the director isn’t feeling it?
You do it again.
And again.
And again.
So let me say this loud:
Actors WORK for their money.
Don’t let TV make it look easy.
It’s not.
Even as an extra, I was like…
“Okay… this is a whole job.”
I have a whole new respect for actors after this experience.
In Part 3, I’ll tell you what happened when I showed up late to set.
Stop by Friday for Part 3.
And be honest—have you ever tried something that looked easy but wasn’t?
