March was an exciting month for me and my writing. I had my first month with my romance Love In Space on Kindle Vella. I ended with 201 reads and 52 followers.
I learned that promotion is very important when it comes to getting more readers. When I did my first book Building Your Readership I didn’t do as much promotion and I posted once a month instead of weekly. I didn’t realize the key to episodic books is the more you post episodes the more you get readers.
I will be uping my posting game for April.
My first book received a crown which was a big deal for me, because I’d been working my butt off trying to get readers to check it out. I had 114 reads and 89 followers.
I received a royalty for both books which always good.
The best stats are the new members I received for my groups. The promotion group had 5 new subscribers and my reader’s group had one new subscribers.
I’m looking forward to seeing how April stats will be.
