It’s hard to meet new people if you aren’t going to events.  Because of my schedule, I don’t do a lot of live events.  This year I’ve made a commitment to myself to attend at least one event each month.  Three months in and I’m doing pretty well with attending events. I believe you have to meet new people in order to build relationships. I ask you, what are you doing to meet new people?
One of the hardest lessons for me as an entrepreneur was figuring out that being a solo entrepreneur didn’t mean you have to do everything yourself. It was OK to get help. When I changed my mindset about getting help, I begin to see a change in my business. One of my favorite parts of creating SORMAG was hosting the SORMAG Online Conference.  It was an online conference for readers and writers.  It started off as a seven day conference and moved to a three day conference over the years.
